a cloth. store invite

Close-up of a colorful floral-pattern on the cloth logo bunny on a bright pink background with white text reading “cloth.”

cloth.studio is the result of a store and design studio that I created and opened in an “up and coming” section of Providence, R.I. in the early 2000’s.
I was incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with, and share the work of brilliant local artists and designers, mostly RISD students and graduates. Sadly, political and economic circumstances changed, making it difficult for a small start-up to thrive. I moved the design portion to a studio space and worked with a brilliant designer / seamstress to develop products. As time went by and finances got tight, I closed up shop and got a “real” job. I dabbled in textile design and collected and sold vintage items in my free time but never fully explored the idea of surface design until now...
Now I’m using my art and design background and fully immersed in surface design for products of all kinds…. check out my textiles page in the projects section.
