In the early 2000’s I opened a store and design studio in an “up and coming” section of Providence, R.I. I was incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with, and share the work of brilliant local artists and designers. Sadly, political and economic circumstances changed, making it difficult for a small start-up to thrive. I moved the design portion to a studio space and worked with a brilliant designer / seamstress to develop products. As time went by and finances got tight, I closed up shop and got a “real” job. I dabbled in textile design and collected and sold vintage items in my free time but never fully explored the idea of surface design until now...
